Vein Treatments
Light-Guided Sclerotherapy
This technique effectively addresses varicosities in the legs and employs a foamed sclerosing solution injected with a very fine needle directly into the vein. Within a few weeks, the vessel becomes barely noticeable or invisible. Often used in conjunction with the Dornier D940 Laser Treatment.
Dornier D940 Laser Treatment
This laser system produces a highly unique 940 nm wavelength which safely passes through the skin and is absorbed by the targeted blood vessel. The vein gradually disappears while skin is left intact.
VNUS Closure® with Radiofrequency
The VNUS Closure® procedure is performed on an outpatient basis under local anesthesia. A thin catheter is inserted using a single needle stick. Radiofrequency energy is delivered to the vein wall, causing it to heat, collapse, and seal shut. Symptoms should improve noticeably as venous flow is re-established in healthy veins. Immediate ambulation. Covered by insurance providers.
Endovenous Laser Treatment
This outpatient procedure, performed under local anesthesia, was developed to treat chronic venous insufficiency. The FDA-approved Vari-Lase® 810 Laser Console delivers laser energy through a small puncture in the leg to close the diseased vein. This procedure is an alternative to surgical vein stripping, VNUS Closure®, and Light-Guided Sclerotherapy. Covered by insurance providers.
Ambulatory Phlebectomy
An outpatient microsurgical procedure, performed under local anesthesia, used to remove all sizes of varicose veins through tiny incisions achieving outstanding cosmetic results. Covered by insurance providers.
Ligation & Division
A minimally invasive surgical technique done when other endovenous procedures are not possible. This procedure entails a small incision and was developed as an alternative to vein stripping. It is performed under local anesthesia on an outpatient basis. Covered by insurance providers.
