Intra Cardiac Tumors
A small percent of the population will develop tumors of the heart. Ninety-five percent of all primary tumors are myxomas, and 90% occur in the left atrium of the heart. All myxomas should be removed to prevent death or stroke which will inevitably occur if left untreated.
